Right now, ultra-runner and water advocate Mina Guli is running 2,000 miles along the Colorado River, from its source high in the Rocky Mountains to the hot, arid desert where it runs dry.
Behind Mina is a team of dedicated partners, working to raise awareness and drive the conversations and collaboration needed to secure the river’s future.
Mina’s journey begins at the source of the Colorado River, high in the Rocky Mountains. After a summit in Denver, she will embark on a 2,000-mile adventure towards California, leading community runs and water-focused summits along the way to bring together local leaders, innovators, businesses and advocates.
Each mile she runs shows both the scale of the challenge and the determination required to solve it.
From farmers to water experts, Mina will meet plenty of people along the route whose daily lives are shaped by the Colorado River. Discover their stories and see what’s at stake.
Join the world’s largest grassroots movement for water this year as Mina Guli runs the length of the Colorado River.
