The first of four events convened across the Colorado River Basin.

Before the run began, leaders from communities, Tribal Nations, business, government and civil society came together in Denver for the first of four #KeepTheRiverRunning summits.

The conversation centred on a shared question: How do we keep the Colorado River running for generations to come?

Throughout the day, participants explored the challenges facing the Colorado River Basin, shared practical solutions already underway, and identified opportunities to strengthen collaboration and mobilise investment for long-term resilience.

The ideas and insights from the Denver Summit will help inform a Shared Ambition for the Colorado River Basin, providing a foundation for the conversations and action that will continue throughout the remainder of the campaign.
